Sr. Barbara le Grange
When a baby is born, so is a mother.
Breastfeeding is an instinctive behaviour for all moms and babies. A breastfeeding experience which is enjoyable and beneficial to both mother and baby largely depends on a relaxed mother who approaches the experience positively and confidently.
This may take time, patience, and practice before you feel confident in your ability to breastfeed.
Barbara is a SACLC Lactation Consultant and passionate about helping every mom and baby to experience the wonderful, crazy, rewarding relationship that breastfeeding offers.

About
My main aim is to offer a holistic service educating, supporting, and guiding new parents through their journey of parenthood. It starts from pregnancy by offering detailed, up to date breastfeeding workshops to prepare the mother to the art of breastfeeding.
After the birth of you baby I focus on offering breastfeeding counselling as well as general support with early newborn baby niggles as well as support with the adjustment as new parents.
The stress of understanding a young infant and the uniqueness of newborn behaviour and problems can leave parents overwhelmed with concern and can be a daunting experience.
Barbara Le Grange is a qualified Professional Paediatric Nurse (B.CUR: General nursing, Midwifery, Psychiatric nursing, Occupational health, Paediatric nursing,), Childbirth educator and a Certified Lactation consultant (SACLC).
She ran the Well Baby Clinic at Westville Hospital as a Private Nursing practitioner from 2006 to 2023.
Barbara relocated to Bloemfontein beginning of January 2024.
Barbara Le Grange offers postnatal home visits at the leisure of your own environment.
